Groupage load (or LCL), describes the transportation of freight, when a separate cargo fills up only a part of a sea shipping container. This method allows effectively coordinating the shipment of various cargoes in a single container. The minimum freight volume is not limited, while the maximum volume of a separate cargo must be at least slightly less than a full 20' sea container.
